Here we go - lots of good reading for you here:
The Employment File: Hiding Disabilities in Interviews (hat tip) This link was particularly interesting to me because in college I had a lot of different friends with various disabilities and a friend who was studying in education and was extremely passionate about serving those who had disabilities. It's a question that really shouldn't have to be asked and I wonder what my friend would have said to this question? She probably would have said something to the effect of most people aren't able to just hide their disability and that whatever that disability was really was what made them a unique and strong(er) employee.
TheStar: Student faces Facebook Consequences Speaking of college... Interesting news about Facebook and using it for coursework. I think it's ridiculous really to think that online networking and collaboration is any different than inperson study groups and collaboration. It's how real-life works... If we have a problem we ask others in our networks if they can help.
RecruitingBlogs.com: LinkedIn Recruiter New product out by LinkedIn, giving you more access to profile information and ability to search through LinkedIn database easier.
Greg Rollett: Gen Y Bloggers vs. Reality Is the importance of social networking really as wide spread as everyone says it is?
Louis Ricciardi: Playing with Seesmic Louis is a fellow tweeter who looks like recently started blogging again. Interesting to see people who are pushing the limitations of different networking programs and finding ways to change them for the better and to be more useful to it's users.
