Yes, I am a Pirate

Right now I'm reading A Pirate's Dilemma by Matt Mason. It was recommended by several people who are also apart of Brazen Careerist so I decided to give it a go. I'm only 2 chapters into it and it's been really interesting to read about the revolution of how companies are operating. Basically how piracy - particularly in the music industry - has been an example of changing the whole way we do business.

Anyways this weekend I'll be attending Startup Weekend up in Raleigh and I'm really excited to have a concrete example of this "piracy" and convergence of creative people in one place for a weekend. I'm sure I'll post more on the weekend when I get back.
